Lindsay is an MA student in the Ancient Culture, Religion, and Ethnicity program, a teaching assistant, and the UBC Graduate Student Ambassador for the Canadian Society for the Study of Religion. She received her Bachelor of Arts double majoring in Religious Studies and Sociology at the University of Alberta in 2017 and her research focuses on the intersection of Ancient Near Eastern and biblical mythology, particularly in the constructed gender of characters.
