Allison is an MA student in the Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology program. She received her BA in Classical, Near Eastern, and Religious Studies from UBC in 2018. Her research has primarily focused on ancient peoples’ relationships with natural disasters, with her undergraduate thesis discussing the responses of Pompeii’s residents to the impacts of earthquakes. Her MA thesis is concerned with people’s responses to earthquakes in late antique Cyprus. She has excavated in Sicily, Cyprus, and Romania.
