Our department offers a number of exciting experiential learning opportunities through our archaeological field schools (CNRS 335/535). We generally try to offer at least one each year. Recent field schools have included those at the Late Bronze Age site of Kalavasos-Ayios Dhimitrios on the island of Cyprus with Prof. Kevin Fisher, the Roman site of Gerace on the island of Sicily with Prof. Roger Wilson, and Prof. Matthew McCarty offered a field school at the Roman site of Apulum in Romania.
