Join us as archaeology faculty and graduate students from the Department of Classical, Near Eastern, and Religious Studies at UBC share some of their exciting work. Caroline Arbuckle will talk about her research on Ancient Egypt; Hector Williams will discuss the excavations at Stymphalos, Greece; and Kevin Fisher will talk about the new frontiers of digital archaeology. MA students Amber Leenders and Allison Marlyn will also be on hand to discuss various collections of artifacts, including the Department’s collections of ancient coins and epigraphic squeezes, as well as ancient Near Eastern ceramics from the Blackmore Collection.
