My academic interests are: Roman Comedy, Greek Tragedy, Greek and Roman Epic, Modern Reception in graphic novels and genre fiction; Shakespeare; Gilded Age Politics; African American History in the 19^th and 20^th centuries; Magical Realism; History and Philosophy of Science.
